Technical Certification
Apple-certified Macintosh technicians perform diagnostics, covered repairs, modifications, alterations, and upgrades on Apple products.

To become certified to repair Apple Macintosh systems, one must pass a software and hardware exam at an Authorized Prometric Test Center. Certifications are renewed annually through recertification exams.
